About Us

Hi! We hope it’s okay if this is informal for now. Our names are Cory and Dominique. For years, we dreamed of making stories that capture the attention of people that love magic and mystery. In our quest to prepare for being parents, we read a lot of children’s books. When we say “a lot,” we mean A LOT. We went to the library when Dominique was pregnant and brought back stacks of books, sometimes more than twenty at a time. We loved them. We quickly decided that we wanted to create the feeling in others that these stories created in us.

We began writing stories. We started learning as much as we could about children’s books and tried to become better at storytelling. We joined Facebook groups and even bought a computer with the hope that we would use it to write books. Alas, when our son came, we learned just how busy parents can often be. Though we continued to write off and on, we never pursued anything serious.
